Thames Young Mariners

Thames Young Mariners was established over 40 years ago on a 25 acre site alongside the River Thames between Richmond and Kingston and it includes a 10 acre lake. It is surrounded by 200 acres of public open space, which has been designated as a local nature reserve.

At Thames Young Mariners qualified instructors offer a range of outdoor activities which include kayaking, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, woodland skills and archery. These activities help to develop self esteem, confidence and team work, and give the young people the opportunity to develop their skills in all of the above activities and to gain accredited awards.
